Wanda is not doing well.
Wanda is not doing will, she is wilting and her leaves are turning brown. I water her, but she is declining. I think it is because her roots are shallow and as a weed she is jut not a flower. As much as I wanted a pretty flower, I picked a weed. I guess you could also apply this observation with relationships. When you meet someone and they are like a pretty flower, don't be fooled with a little honest observation the fact that they are a weed will eventually become apparent.

I agree. I think that you can appreciate the good things about people without forgetting the bad. Its the balance between finding the best in people and believing the worst. Sometimes when that weed isn't bringing life to us and is killing everything around it the only thing we can do is yank it out.
ReplyDeleteThough a weed may seem like an inconvenience in a gardener's paradise, it has it's role.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, like in class, I see people who aren't trying - they don't really care about learning in class or practically applying what they learn, and honestly I get a little frustrated and say "What's the point?"
I'm not saying they are weeds or worthless. But thanks to your observation, I'm starting to see that everything has beauty and purpose (like you knew it was a weed but you decided to care for it) - just not everyone acknowledges it. I'm working on seeing the beauty of the seemingly insignificant or frustrating.
