A plant by any other name is still a plant.

Alas, May was evidently not ment to become a full grown maple tree. If my maple plant was evidently not ment to become a full grown maple tree then, maybe I can not take for granted what I wish for my life, or the plans I make. It would seem that from this I am to learn to be a little more short sighted. I took for granted that my little maple tree would grow and one day I would plant it in the front yard. It was a long term goal that I new would take a few years before the tree would be strong enough to survive winter. That I would bring it in after fall and keep it safe from the harsh winter and bring it out in the spring. Repot as needed, and wait for it to grow large enough to be planted in the yard.

I will take my little green pot and plant one of the flowers from the flowerbed in front, or maybe even another little maple tree. I noticed there are a few other little maple trees in the flowerbed. What can I apply from my disapointment from even befor I began this quest?..... Well, for one thing I will see what I can do to nurture the task or dream while in the befor and during and not just think because I have set about a task that it will come about. Forgetting that I am not the only one who has plans.

  1. I am so blessed by your insight and willingness to do this task. I am equalkly blessed at your taking the time to learn from it and not just do it as form and function just because you were asked. Great lesson and I hope others will read and learn from your words.
